App Permissions

What we request & why

The mobile app may request access to certain device features. We request permissions only when needed for features you choose to use, and you can revoke permissions in your device settings.

Permission Why we use it What we store
Camera Take vehicle photos/videos, scan VIN/barcodes, capture documents when needed. Only the media you choose to save/upload to your inventory records.

Microphone Record audio while capturing video (if you choose to record video with sound). Audio is included only in videos you record and upload.

How to revoke permissions
You can manage permissions anytime in your device settings (iOS Settings → Anywhere Dealer, or Android Settings → Apps → Anywhere Dealer → Permissions). If you disable a permission, some features may not work until re-enabled.

Facebook Marketplace Plugin/Extension

Listings & workflow

Our browser plugin/extension is designed to help dealerships create and manage Facebook Marketplace listings and streamline related workflow (photos, description generation, posting assistance, and lead follow-up organization).

Important: Anywhere Dealer is not affiliated with Meta (Facebook) and does not claim endorsement.
Facebook and Marketplace are trademarks of Meta Platforms, Inc.

What the plugin may access (typical browser permissions)

  • Active tab / page content on Marketplace pages (to help you fill forms and manage listings).
  • Browser storage (to remember your settings and workflow preferences).
  • Network requests related to plugin features (to communicate with Anywhere Dealer services).

What we do NOT do

  • We do not ask for your Facebook password.
  • We do not sell your lead lists or personal data.
  • We do not post content without an action you initiate (e.g., clicking a publish/post action).
Data the plugin may store about listings
The plugin may store listing metadata you create (e.g., VIN, stock number, title, price, description, photo references), posting status, timestamps, and workflow notes. This helps you track what has been posted and manage updates across your team.
Facebook data & your account
When you use the plugin on Facebook Marketplace, your interactions are also governed by Meta’s terms and privacy policies. The plugin operates within your browser session and may read page data necessary to provide its features on Marketplace pages.

How We Use Information

Primary purposes
  • Provide, maintain, and improve our app, plugin/extension, and dealership tools.
  • Operate core features (inventory management, uploading media, CRM workflows, listing assistance).
  • Security and fraud prevention (authentication, access control, abuse detection).
  • Customer support, troubleshooting, and service communications.
  • Analytics to understand usage and improve performance and reliability.
AI-assisted features (if enabled)
Some features may generate content (like vehicle descriptions) based on data you provide. We use the minimum data needed to deliver the feature. Generated text is treated like other content you create (you can edit it before publishing).
